We’re delighted to announce that Dr Husseini Manji has joined Apollo Therapeutics as a Special Advisor, bringing world-leading neuroscience, neurology and psychiatry expertise to our Strategic Advisory Group. In addition to being an outstanding clinician and basic medical scientist, Dr Manji has a proven track record in bringing highly innovative new CNS medicines through the R&D process to the market and major commercial success.

Dr Manji is currently Co-Chair of the UK Government Mental Health Mission, Professor at the Department of Psychiatry at Oxford University, adjunct Professor at Yale University and visiting Professor at the Department of Psychiatry at Duke University. He was previously Global Therapeutic Area Head for Neuroscience at Janssen (Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson), and Global Head, Science for Minds, J&J. Before joining J&J, Professor Manji was Chief of the Laboratory of Molecular Pathophysiology at the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Director of the NIH Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program, the largest program of its kind in the world.
